Long dry season hits middle Yangtze River

The water line at the low reaches of the
Gezhouba Dam on the Yangtze River, in Yichang, central China's Hubei Province
stands at 39.78 meters, April 9, 2006. It is reported that this section of the
Yangtze River has seen a long dry season this spring, which is a
