Dragon dance performance is put on at the 16th Big Scholar
Tree Ancestor-Worship and Root-Seeking Festival held in Hongdong County,
Northwest China's Shanxi Province on April 5, 2006. Sponsored by local
government in a bid to boost its tourism industry, the grand gathering features
mass worshiping activities and rich folk art performances and attracts more than
300 thousand Chinese worldwide to the origin of ancient mass immigration.
