Girl lives in cage with 300 birds

A 25-year-old Hubei woman began to live in a bird cage with 300 birds on Monday.

The woman, selected from 70 volunteers, would live in a 5-square-metre cage suspended 4 metres above the ground in the middle of a park for seven days. She is only equipped with a bed and a computer with Internet access.

She says that by experiencing the pain a caged bird must feel, her awareness of wildlife protection will be raised.
