Explosive plant blast kills 20 in East China

JINAN, April 2 -- Twenty workers have been confirmed dead, two injured while the status of the rest still being unknown after a blast at an explosive plant in East China's Shandong Province.

Thirty-one workers were on duty when the blast occured at around 7:00 p.m., according to local industrial sfaty officials in Zhaoyuan city.

The cause of the explosion is still under investigation.
