A university graduate has been sentenced to 10 years in prison and fined 10,000 yuan (US$1,234) for communicating pornographic materials on the Internet, in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province.

The man, surnamed Zhu, was unable to find a job when he graduated from university so he opened an online flower store.

Business was slow, so Zhu linked his website to several porn sites. Emails flooded in from advertisers.

Zhu gradually added 847 porn pictures and 777 dirty videos to his website. In two months, his site recorded 2.39 million hits.
