Huang Chun, a handsome and staunch believer in love, married his beloved woman, a malignant leukemia patient with only 180 days to live, in Deyang County of Southwest China's Sichuan Province on Tuesday, reported the Chongqing Morning News.

For the 25-year-old Liu Aili, the day was in every way a big day. On that day, she became the wife of her most beloved man, Huang Chun, and received from him a lifetime promise of love and care for her till death do them part.

In addition, a beam of hope shone on her with the surprising appearance of a bone marrow donor at the wedding ceremony.

A bolt from the blue

A native of Shifang County in Sichuan, Liu was an employee with the Deyang Municipal Transportation Bureau. One day in 2003, Huang, a native of southwest China's Chongqing Municipality and then a junior in Sichuan University's Architecture Department, traveled to Deyang. He came upon Liu while singing in a karaoke bar, and the two fell in love at first sight.

In order to stay with Liu, Huang went to work in a decoration company after graduation. From then on they enjoyed a plain and happy life, and planned to get married in this October.
