China is capable of achieving its full-year target of around 6.5 percent year-on-year growth this year, with an even "higher growth target possible", said He Lifeng, chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission, on Saturday. China's GDP is expected to reach more than 80 trillion yuan this year, he said.
The Chinese economy has accounted for around 15 percent of the world's total. The contribution of China's economic growth to the world economy has reached 30 percent each year, making China the biggest contributor, he said.
