Annie S.C. Wu, vice-chairwoman of Beijing Air Catering Co Ltd Updated: 2007-01-08 08:04 Exploring new frontiers could be the most challenging and meaningful
part of Annie S.C. Wu's life. Beijing Air Catering Co Ltd has provided meals
for China's aviation industry for 26 years, serving more than 50 airlines with
40,000 meals a day. It is now building a second air meal production center,
Wu says. The new facility, due to open in 2008, will be able to produce 45,000
meals per day. The company also plans to expand its Japanese and Muslim
kitchens, says Liu Ying, the company's general manager. The company now
supplies food such as salad and sandwiches to Pacific Coffee, a Hong Kong-based
coffee chain in Beijing. It is also bidding to provide catering services to
athletes, officials and staff workers during the 2008 Beijing Olympic
Games.
