With the improvement of the material well-being, Chinese people pay more attention to the spiritual enjoyment in recent years. Striving for a life with better quality has become the main theme.

With the rapid spread of information and development of the relative industry, it has become increasingly popular for Chinese people to move to developed countries. According to those who live abroad, North America would be the most popular destination, followed by New Zealand and Australia.

What's the motivation of the migration wave?

To answer this question, we interviewed some overseas Chinese, and the motivation given by a man surnamed Wang represented those of the majority.

Wang is a successful entrepreneur in Shandong province. His family now becomes the permanent residents of Canada. He told us that the most important reason of his immigration to Canada was to offer a better education for his daughter. His daughter is at the same age with his friend's daughter. When his daughter was ten years old, his friend's family moved to Canada.

Three years later, his friend came back. And the two little girls behaved differently. Apart from speaking fluent English, the daughter of his friend also enjoys better communication ability and the ability to take good care of herself. He became interested in the education system in Canada immediately. With a thorough understanding of the system, he decided to send his daughter there and get access to the Canadian education. In order to take care of his daughter, his whole family decided to immigrate to Canada. After he arrived in Canada, the beautiful sightseeing, the stable society and the friendly neighbors offer one surprise after another.

"Immigration now is one of the wisest decisions I've made," said Wang, “Thanks to the improvement of the communication and the development of the internet, I can do my business even in Canada. And there is no use commuting between China and Canada. Now my company developed very well while I can enjoy the high quality of life in Canada."

Is immigration really so good? Given the spiraling heat of immigration and the development of the immigration consultant industry, we interviewed a man surnamed Zhao, one senior immigration consultant from Jingcheng Chuanfeng (Beijing) Consultant Co, Ltd.

Zhao speaks highly of the education system, environment, social security and society stability abroad, especially those of America and Canada. But he also pointed out that, first, it's better to choose a steadier program to prevent the loss of money and the identity as the permanent resident. Second, it is advised to choose a suitable country or city, after all, people in many foreign countries speak English and differ in cultural background and life style. Third, people should bear in mind that immigration might not be so good as expected. One should consider the cost, time, social welfare etc. while deciding which country to go. Zhao suggested that Canada is a better choice. He also said that considered the time the process takes, it would be much better to start the preparation as early as possible.
