China's holdings of South Korean government bonds more than tripled to 6.14 trillion won ($5.4 billion) as of Nov 30, up from 1.87 trillion won at the end of 2009, Bloomberg reported on Dec 6, citing the Financial Supervisory Service of South Korea.

China bought 556 billion won of South Korean government debt in November, the most of any month since May, according to Bloomberg.
