Some Chinese enterprises have experienced unfair treatment in their overseas investments and cooperation, chinanews.com reported, citing Chen Jian, vice-minister of the Ministry of Commerce.
Chen said at a news conference on Monday that no specific European or American countries were found restricting Chinese companies' investments, and that was one of the preconditions for the fast growth of China's overseas investments. However, some Chinese enterprises did receive unfair treatment from some countries and regions in their overseas investments and cooperation, mainly due to trade and investment protectionism, Chen added, without giving more details.
