China has already kicked off price talks with major iron ore producers for supplies in 2011, Reuters reported on Friday, citing an official from the China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).

Luo Bingsheng, deputy chairman of CISA, also said China's fourth-quarter crude steel production was expected to fall due to energy saving curbs.
