The recall affects some of its Axor 940-944 models produced from Nov 6, 2009 to Jan 19, 2010, said a statement posted on the website of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (GAQSIQ), China's quality watchdog.

The recall follows concerns that an oil line in the truck may burst, possibly starting a fire in extreme cases, the statement said.

The truck manufacturer announced that it would check and replace the oil lines at no-charge to truck owners.

Owners can contact the truck maker on a hotline at 400-650-1516 or contact the AQSIQ by dialing 010-59799616 or 65537365.
