Private equities seek investment at forum in Tianjin

BEIJING - The 4th China International Private Equity Forum opened Thursday in north China's Tianjin municipality, providing introduction services between investors and enterprises.

Around 500 investment institutions and 1,500 companies from home and abroad are attending the forum, which closes June 12, according to a statement on the forum's official website, www.pe-fund.com.

The forum is jointly hosted by the Tianjin municipal government, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and the Association for Corporate Growth.

The previous three forums attracted more than 7,000 enterprises and institutions from more than 30 countries, and raised a total of 50 billion yuan ($7.32 billion) in capital.
