CCB vice governor resigns

Fan Yifei, vice governor of China Construction Bank Corp (CCB) has resigned, the CCB said in a statement Wednesday.

Fan, 45, worked for the bank for 28 years, the CCB statement said. It did not release the reason for his departure or who would be his successor at the bank.

CCB's statement did not indicate Fan's next job, but he was reportedly tapped as a manager of China Investment Corp, the country's sovereign-wealth fund.
