China Vanke reports 29.6% sales growth in first nine months

China Vanke, the country's largest listed real estate developer, said Monday evening its sales value in the first three quarters grew 29.6 percent from a year earlier to 46.15 billion yuan ($6.76 billion).

September's sales value grew 27 percent year-on-year to 5.46 billion yuan, said the Shenzhen-based developer. The space sold in September totaled 537,000 sq m, up 0.8 percent.

The company sold 5.1 million sq m of housing nationwide in the past nine months, up 26.8 percent year-on-year.

The rising momentum of Chinese property market this year was boosted by a series of government measures to bolster the economy and stimulate domestic consumption.
