China's Ministry of Finance (MOF) has drafted a road map for the country to adopt international accounting standards, and the Ministry will solicit public opinions on the draft at a later time, Shanghai Securities News said today.

The road map will make clear the principals, content, procedure and timeline for the Chinese accounting standards to follow the international standards "in a comprehensive fashion", said Liu Yuting, director of Accounting Regulatory Department of the MOF.
