Kailuan Clean Coal sets up JV with Shougang Jingtang

Shanghai-listed Chinese coking coal producer Kailuan Clean Coal said on Wednesday that it would establish a 2.5 billion yuan ($365 million) joint venture with steelmaker Shougang Jingtang to process coal tar.

The joint venture, to be located in Caofeidian, Hebei province, will have the capacity of processing 600,000 tons of coal tar a year and advanced processing 800,000 tons of coal tar a year.
