List of top 500 Chinese enterprises to be issued

The 2008 Top 500 Chinese Enterprises Issuance and the Large Chinese Enterprises Summit will be held from August 30 to 31 in Yinchuan, capital of Northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, the Yinchuan municipal government announced yesterday.

With "Enterprises during transformation: New challenge, new development" as the theme, the event will not only release the top 500 Chinese enterprises for 2008 but also host the Large Chinese Enterprises Summit and investment-project negotiations.

Four topics will be discussed at the summit: strategy transformation and commercial pattern innovation, risk control and enterprise growth, social responsibility and competitive edge and opportunities and challenges brought by fluctuation of the global financial market.

The event is sponsored by the China Enterprise Confederation.
