Chinese shares rebound slightly on Thursday, buoyed up by the announcement of might-coming adjustment of the taxation policy in the capital market.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 68.34 points, or 1.59 percent, to close at 4,360.99 points Thursday.
The Shenzhen Component Index, which covers both A and B shares, closed at 15,696.13 points, up 94.92 points, or 0.61 percent, from the previous trading.
Combined turnover on the two bourses totaled 199.63 billion yuan (US$28.08 billion).
