MAN unveils 1st commercial vehicle center in China

Germany-based MAN Group has inaugurated its first commercial vehicle center in China. This is also the nation's first vehicle sales and service center directly invested in by foreign firms. The facility is located in the Beijing Tianzhu Airport Industrial Zone, occupying a total area of 8,828 square meters.

The center houses a vehicle inspection room, spare parts storage room, as well as a vehicle model demonstration area, all of which strictly follow the standards of the company's European service centers.

MAN Group directly invested 21 million yuan (US$2.7 million) in building this center, which is considered an important project for the group in recent years in China. Other overseas heavy-duty truck producers normally jointly establish sales and services centers with Chinese partners.
