Vice mayor introduces 11th Five-Year Plan

Vice mayor of Chongqing Tong Xiaoping introduced
the "11th Five-Year Plan for Economic and Social Development of Chongqing"
at the special news conference by the 4th Session of the 2nd People's
Congress of Chongqing Municipality yesterday morning. According to the
plan, the GDP of Chongqing will increase 10% every year by 2010, the GDP
of Chongqing by 2010 will total 500 billion yuan; per capita income for
urban and rural residents will reach 15,000 and 4,100 yuan respectively by
the end of the 11th Five-Year Plan
period. |
