Figure focus
Liu Qinghe's solo show displays more than 140 paintings since 1990. His serial figure creations focus on ordinary people with exaggerated modeling. Prized pottery

The fourth contemporary zisha (purple clay pottery) exhibition gathers more than 10 participants from Yixing of Jiangsu Province, the hometown of this traditional style of pottery. Related academic seminars are also being held. The experts will demonstrate the production process involved, and can also make such wares for visitors on the spot. A joint exhibition, entitled Present Progressive Tense, shows the works of 10 participants. As its name suggests, the show expresses a kind of positive attitude toward life and art.
