No matter where you go in Beijing you'll see people with earphones in. Many of them are loyal listeners of HitFM88.7, the first and only Top 40 Formula Radio in China.

Launched on April 16, 2003, HitFM88.7 has thousands of listeners who responded to the refreshing new sounds of the station. Since its launch, the station has become one of the most popular music stations in Beijing, especially popular among the young.

With its fourth birthday just around the corner, the station is holding a party and concert on April 16. Music fans will have the chance to get within touching distance of their favourite DJs.

There will also be performances from some of the most popular singers and bands in Beijing, like rock singer Zheng Jun and folk singer Lao Lang.

HitFM88.7 broadcasts provides 24-hour continuous listening pleasure of worldwide contemporary hits every day, running popular programs including Morning Call, @Work Network, the Lazy Afternoon and Big Drive Home.
