Honda's luxury brand Acura today unveiled its all-new ZDX sports coupe at the 14th Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition, or Auto Shanghai 2011.

It is scheduled to go on sale in China before the end of the year.

Developed for a new generation of luxury vehicle buyers, the 4-door sports coupe features sporty and elegant exterior design and outstanding driving performance, achieving a fusion of sedan comfort and SUV utility at a high level.

The new concept in sports cars is equipped with a 3.7-liter V6 VTEC engine and Acura's all-wheel drive system.

The newly introduced Integrated Dynamics System enables the driver to enjoy two different driving modes - comfort or sporty.

The exterior design is full of unique features including Acura's first panoramic glass roof.

Acura's strong brand identity and high level of customer satisfaction is a result of driving fun made possible by advanced technologies and its industry-leading customer service.

The brand has been well received by customers in China. Both unit sales and the number of exclusive Acura dealers increased significantly in 2010.

Starting with the introduction of ZDX at Auto Shanghai 2011, Acura will implement a new product strategy and accelerate its growth.

"Acura will accelerate introduction of new products including a new hybrid model in 2012 in addition to the ZDX," said Seiji Kuraishi, president of Honda Motor (China) Investment Corp Ltd.

"Technologies for existing Acura products will be continuously advanced and the quality of our customer service with be further strengthened will our plan to increase the number of exclusive Acura dealers to 50 by the end of 2011," he added.
