Shanghai stock indices close down -- May 20

BEIJING -- China's benchmark Shanghai Composite Index on the Shanghai Stock Exchange closed at 2,858.46 points Friday, down 1.12 points, or 0.04 percent, from the previous close.

A Share Index: 2,993.52 points, down 1.09 points, or 0.04 percent;

B Share Index: 299.97 points, down 1.68 points, or 0.56 percent;

Total Turnover: 84.61 billion yuan ($13.02 billion).
