HONG KONG - Hong Kong stocks lost 84.82 points, or 0.36 percent, to close at 23,720.81 on Friday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 23,633.74 and 23, 808.93. Turnover totaled HK$70.03 billion ($9.01 billion).
