China Securities Journal, NASDAQ shares information

NEW YORK - China Securities Journal Limited Company (CSJ) and NASDAQ OMX Group Corporate Services (NASDAQ), Inc signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Thursday, focusing on sharing market information and database.

According to the memo, the two sides will share incorporate news, as well as market data online. The two sides might have further relevant co-operation in the near future.

"Providing our foreign investors with valuable information is one of CJS's ambitions. And we will promote our service to our customers both in China and aboard in the near future,"Lin Chen, publisher and chairman of CSJ, said in a speech in NASDAQ.

Demetrios N. Skalkotos, senior vice president of NASDAQ OMX, said that NASDAQ OMX was looking forward to sharing more and more market-relevant information with CSJ, expanding innovation and vision together.

According to the memo, NASDAQ OMX will be the first non-Chinese sponsor ever granted the privilege of assuming a leading sponsorship role for the Golden Bull Awards program, held by CSJ.

CSJ, founded in 1992, is the largest Chinese language financial news media enterprise in China, as well as the most influential officially designated discloser of information on Chinese listed companies, insurance companies and trust companies.
