Honda to recall 156,302 cars in China

Guangqi Honda Automobile Co, Ltd, will recall 156,302 vehicles sold in China as of Feb 25 due to motor defects, according to the website of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine on Thursday.

The recall will cover 40,847 1.5L Fit models produced between Jan 7, 2008 and Jan 29, 2010, as well as 115,455 City sedans produced between April 29, 2008 and Jan 26, 2010.

This recall in China is part of Honda Motor Co's global recall of about 693,000 Fit, Freed and City models, according to Bloomberg.
