Head of Investment Coordinating Board Gita Wirjawan told reporters that following the implementation of ASEAN-China Free Trade Agreement (ACFTA) in Jan 1, 2010, China has invested $173 million in 2010 or ranked 11.

"The number increased from $65.5 million in 2009 when it ranked 13," said Wirjawan, without mentioning the expectation figures.

He said that Indonesia has expected more investment from China this year to increase the national economic growth.

According to him, several Chinese companies which intend to invest in Indonesia are those with their investment vehicle in Singapore, Hong Kong and British Virgin Islands, among others.
