BEIJING -- The Chinese mainland announced Saturday it will extend anti-dumping measures for another five years on ethanolamine imported from Japan, Malaysia, the United States and Taiwan from November 14.
In November 2009, the MOC launched a probe into ending the measures in response to applications from domestic ethanolamine companies.
After a year-long investigation, the MOC found if anti-dumping measures were ended, dumping of ethanolamine might continue and would hurt the domestic industry again, said the statement.
Ethanolamine is an organic chemical compound widely used in the production of emulsifiers, detergents, metal cleaners and polishes.
