Delegates from more than 30 countries joined the two-day meeting to find solutions for climate change.

Their discussions at the workshop focused on promoting public transportation, electric vehicles and energy-efficient buildings.

Michael Bloomberg, mayor of the New York City, took over chairmanship from Toronto Mayor David Miller at the closing ceremony on Saturday.

The "C40" is a group of world's major cities committed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through a range of energy efficiency and clean energy programs.
