Golden Week sees higher retail, catering sales

BEIJING - China's National Day holiday, from Oct 1 to 7, reported 592.5 billion yuan ($88.30 billion) in retail and catering sales, up 18.7 percent from the same period last year, said the Ministry of Commerce on Oct 7.
