Guotai denied such sayings, when contacted by the paper, but no announcement has been issued by the company's board of directors to clarify the rumors.

Jin, once called the most beautiful woman on the China Securities Regulatory Commission, worked on the commission for nine years and participated in drafting China's fund law.

She later joined several fund managing companies, including China AMC, one of the first nationwide fund management firms and took the helm of Guotai in 2007.
