He Rong, 30, who looks younger than his age, is helping find the right people for the right job for his fellow university graduates in search of employment.

He, general manager of Nantong Bole Human Resources Co Ltd (Bole HR), started his first business on the Internet with a 500,000 yuan ($73,526) investment from his father when he was 23.

"When I graduated from Nanjing Technology College in 2003, I could not get a suitable job," He told chinadaily.com.cn in an exclusive interview.

The Internet company he started did not make money at the beginning, and he quickly went through his initial 500,000 yuan investment.

"I made many mistakes in operations and management," He said, recalling the failure of his first business in 2006.

During the same year, He found many fresh graduates were facing jobless situations similar to his experience in 2003. He thought that there should be a way to help new graduates, and that there should be a human resource (HR) market for them.

He founded a human resource company with one million yuan – half from himself and half from his business partner. The new company operated job fairs and an Internet job fair website called Bole.cn. Now the website Bole.cn is becoming a popular HR portal for local graduates. Bole HR also provides training services and serves the call center outsourcing industry. He is now operating with a cash flow of as much as 1 million yuan.

But for the first four months that Bole HR was in business, the company saw small returns. Most of the money earned was spent on advertising.

He's partner, foreseeing a better future in real estate, quit Bole HR in the first half of 2007 and took his capital, 200,000 yuan, with him.

"Luckily, the current management staffers are those people who stayed with me for six or seven years from the very beginning," He said.

Now He and his team are looking for new deals, including a new partnership with China Mobile's Nantong branch.

"I will see revenues of more than 10 million yuan this year, and my target is 20 million yuan. The company could realize about a 20 percent net profit. The profit is tiny, in comparison with properties. But I earned life experiences," He said.

"Given a chance to go back to 2003, I would rather have taken just 100,000 yuan from my father, or even started with nothing. I would have started with a very tiny business," He said.

During the interview, He paused to answer a mobile phone call, revealing that his company had just been approved as a training and practicing base for graduates.
