China will increase efforts against insider trading by expanding trial registration of individuals who may have access to privileged market-moving information, the Shanghai Securities News reported today, citing an unidentified official with the China Securities Regulatory Commission.

The securities regulator will increase efforts to issue rules on the monitoring and scrutinization of listed companies, the newspaper reported.
