China to issue 40b yuan of certificate T-bonds

BEIJING - The Ministry of Finance said on Tuesday that it will issue 40 billion yuan ($5.91 billion) of certificate T-bonds, the third batch this year, from July 12 to 26.

The bonds include 20 billion yuan of one-year bonds with a fixed annual interest of 2.60 percent and 20 billion yuan of three-year bonds with an annual interest of 3.73 percent, said a statement on the ministry's web-site.

Interest will be calculated from the day of purchase. Principal and interest will be paid upon maturity, the ministry said.
