China to sell 20b yuan T-bonds Friday

China's Ministry of Finance (MOF) said Tuesday it will sell 20 billion yuan ($2.95 billion) of 182-day book-entry treasury bonds on Friday.

The bonds will be issued on a discount basis through a competitive tender from 9:30 am to 10:30 am Friday, the MOF statement said.

Interest on the bonds will be calculated from July 12 and they will become tradable July 16.
