Gamesa Corp, a world leading wind turbine design, manufacturing and installation company based in Spain, has decided to build a wind turbine manufacturing plant in Da'an city of northeastern China's Jilin province.
The project, scheduled to begin operation in 2011, will mainly produce Gamesa's G8X-2.0 MW wind turbines. The project, with an estimated cost of 160 million yuan ($23.43 million), will be built in two phases.The first phase involves an investment 69.1 million yuan with an annual production capacity of 500 MW and an annual output value of 3 billion yuan.
