Shenzhen Mayor Xu Zongheng, on behalf of the Shenzhen Municipal Government, rewarded China Life Insurance (Overseas) Co Ltd with 20 million yuan ($2.74 million) for moving its headquarters to Shenzhen from Beijing on Friday.

With branches in Hong Kong, Macao and Singapore, China Life Insurance (Overseas) Co Ltd is wholly owned by China Life Insurance (Group) Company, and is in charge of promoting the group business development overseas.
