Hong Kong-listed China Telecom Corp Ltd said net new subscribers totaled 200,000 in May, down from 300,000 net additions in April.

Cumulative net additions in the five months to May totaled 1.24 million.

At end-May, overall users totaled 224.28 million, the company said in a statement.

Broadband subscribers at the end of May totaled 31.62 million, increasing 510,000 form April.
