Energy: Clean energy boost

China Huaneng Group, the nation's biggest power company, plans to boost renewable energy capacity more than 10 times by 2020 as the country seeks to cut fossil-fuel consumption, the South China Morning Post reported, citing an official at a unit of the utility.

Huaneng Group, the parent of Hong Kong-listed Huaneng Power International Inc, aims to boost its environmental clean energy capacity to 4,500 megawatts from 424 megawatts by 2020, the newspaper reported, citing Song Yuhong, deputy project manager of Huaneng Renewable Energy Holdings.
