Fuel surcharges drop on China-Japan routes

Serveral airliners have cut the fuel surcharges on routes between China and Japan from this year to keep pace with the dropping oil prices.

Shanghai Airlines said on its Websites that it has cut the fuel surcharges for flights taking off from Japan to US$25 and flights taking off from China to US$36.

China Eastern Airlines has also cut the fee to US$36 from the former US$40 on flights heading to Japan.

All Nippon Airways, Japan's largest domestic carrier, has reduced the fuel surcharges on China-Japan routes to US$36 from US$40 starting from Monday.
