Culture: Foundation to help NGOs

A number of leading multinational corporations and professional services firms jointly launched an innovative venture philanthropy foundation, Non-Profit Partners (NPP) yesterday in Beijing.

Working with the China Youth Development Foundation and the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation, NPP will offer pro bono professional support and funds focused on capability-building to China's non-profit organizations (NGOs).

To date founding board member firms include McKinsey & Company, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Ogilvy & Mather, Novartis Pharma Ltd, Jun He Law Offices and Motorola.
