CCB chief risk supervisors in place

In July, the China Construction Bank (CCB) deployed 37 chief risk supervisors to its first-class branches around the country. It was the first time in CCB's history that the headquarters appointed top risk managers to its branches.

Most of the them were top executives on other posts before the reallocation, like Han Fenglin, a senior manager at the CCB head office risk management department with 19 years of management experience. In addition, 95 percent of them assumed their new posts in another city rather than where they had been working previously.

Earlier CCB arranged a training program lasting 17 days for the new risk supervisors. Professional and academic experts from the China Banking Regulatory Commission, Bank of America, the Australia and New Zealand Banking Corp and relevant directors and supervisors of CCB were invited to the courses to deliver lectures and hold seminars.
