Longchi Development Area, a booming economic zone in Zhangzhou, East China's
Fujian Province, has received a 3.75 billion yuan investment.
Covering an area of 13.75 square kilometers, the zone has four industrial
parks including EUPA International Corporation (EUPA), a well-known home
appliance and consumer electronic product manufacturer.

production lines in the electrical motor department of EUPA, Longchi
Development Area, Zhangzhou, East China's Fujian Province.

"Currently, there are 115 enterprises registered here, 40 of which are
foreign-funded with an investment of US$320 million," said Zheng Qingsong, vice
general manager of the Longchi Development Area Administration Committee.
Last year production value reached 5.3 billion yuan (US$662,76 million) and
revenue totaled 5.3 billion yuan. This year industrial production value is
expected to reach 7 billion yuan with 320 million yuan in revenue, said
