Brief Introduction	The project includes the constructions of one reservoir with a storage capacity of 0.165 billion cubic meter, and a power station with the installed capacity of 30,000 kw. The maximum height of the dam is 125 metres. It is a large-scale comprehensive project that includes irrigation, flood control, water supply and power generation.

Benefit Analysis	After the project is completed, the controllable irrigated area will reach 450,000 mu and 15,800,000 cubic meter of water will be supplied to urban areas each year. The annual generated energy will be 0.1 billion kwh. The economic, ecologic and social benefit is notable. And the benefit from power production and irrigation will be good.

Construction Conditions	Xujixia Reservoir will be built on the Baying River in Haixi Prefecture, Qinghai Province. It is about 40 km away from Delingha city, the capital of Haixi Prefecture. The geological condition is good and natural construction materials are rich. Also the transportation is convenient.
