Project Background: Han Dynasty Style Street lies to the north of Dongpu Reservoir with a wonderful view of the neighboring hills and rivers, which indicates good development prospects. Following reconstruction of Xiaoyaojing Park and illumination of Mingjiao Temple by lights, Three Kingdoms Ruins Park strongly recommended by Anhui Province to tourists has been listed into the 10th 5-year garden programme of Hefei City and as one of the "Ten Projects of Tourism and Garden". It was open to the public in 2005.

Project Content and Scale: Relying on Three Kingdoms Ruins Park and ruraling surroundings, the project is characteristic of three outstanding features - countryside, region and folk customs. The constructions will be two-story buildings mainly of Hui style or imitating that of Han Dynasty style, 90 square meters per Project Provider with 2 or 3 towers, which is quite different from traditional shop fronts -  one room for a shop front. Each Project Provider will be designed as a whole with individual characters, combining dwelling houses with business houses, some with dwelling houses upstairs and business houses downstairs, some with dwelling houses front and business houses back. A square will be built in front of part of the buildings and a garden at the back. The main street will be 18 meters wide and extend 50 meters to the east and the west respectively with the Park Road as the center. The total length of the street will be 840 meters from North Huanhu Road to the intersection of Three Kingdoms New Town, covering a total area of 84 thousand square meters. The front and back entrances will be designed as arc squares and the street will be a pedestrian precinct with a landmark building at its center.
 
Analysis on Economic Benefits: The total construction area will be 200 thousand square meters with a total income of RMB300 million (about US$37.5 million, 1,500Yuan/m2X200,000m2), profits are big.
 
Investment Estimation: The total investment required will be US$17.5 million (about RMB140 million).
 
Project Progress: Prospecting and planning have been completed and the project has been approved.

Profile of the Project Provider: Sanshi Gang Village of Luyang District is located in the northwest of Hefei, upper reaches of Dongpu Reservoir, neighboring CAS, Hefei Branch, 6 kilometers to 206 National Highway, with Bus No. 300 going there directly. The newly-built Hefei-Huainan-Fuyang highway goes through the village. Afforestation covers 1/3 of the village. The combination of picturesque scenery, fresh air and simple folk customs forms an ideal place for recreation.
