The Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) and the dairy producer Yili Group signed a sponsorship agreement in Huhhot today, officially making the group the dairy products sponsor for the 2008 Games.

Present at the signing ceremony were Chen Guanglin, Vice-Secretary of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Committee of the Communist Party of China, and Wang Wei, BOCOG Executive Vice-President and Secretary-General.

Wang Wei extended thanks to the Yili Group for its support for the 2008 Olympic Games, saying that the participation of enterprises is an important guarantee to ensure the success of the Olympiad. During the preparations for the Games, BOCOG has received support from enterprises all over the country.

The sponsorship from Yili for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games will not only further consolidate the financial foundation for a successful Beijing Olympic Games but also create larger room for Yili to develop into an international brand, Wang remarked.
