Hard-tech projects spotlight at HKUST(GZ)
The 2026 INNOTECH was held at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) on June 13-14.
Over 150 cutting-edge projects were unveiled, spanning frontiers such as embodied intelligence, smart cities, new materials, and artificial intelligence.
From commercial applications of embodied intelligent robots to AI-powered dialysis, the event's video presented numerous hard-tech projects in a fast-paced "quick-fire" format, highlighting the dynamism and translation potential of university-led technological innovation.
As a flagship tech event in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, INNOTECH has been held for four consecutive years and has nurtured over 260 active startup projects. It continues to inject new momentum into the GBA's innovation ecosystem.
